Charlie’s Picks: My Top Products for November – Stevens RX Zit Patrol Pads and Zit Stick

Dear Readers,

This month, it’s not about me.

I am going to make this product selection based upon an even more important factor – my children.

You see, with two sons at home, I have shared a plethora of product samples with my boys, and two clearly stick out for them – much like the acne that they are using these products for.

Therefore, this month, I select Stevens RX Zit Patrol Pads and Zit Stick as my product choices for you. If you, or someone you love, suffers from the embarrassment and pain of active acne, then these products will thrill you!

Most Los Angeles skin rejuvenation products for acne are used when the person has already broken out, and then tries to immediately conceal or control active blemishes. However, with Zit Patrol Pads, the premise of this lil’ ol’ jar is simple: Wipe the affected area(s) with one pad per day … and keep the acne away! Simple! These pads, when used daily, will prevent breakouts before they even begin. And for those inevitable breakouts that do occur, the Zit Stick can zap them away in no time!

Now, my two boys could provide a testimonial as to how “awesome” this stuff is … but they deny having acne, and thus feel no need to sing the praises of these pads and sticks. That’s only because they both use these products (but don’t tell them I told you so). Trust me, behind closed doors I overhear brothers unite and swear by it. “This stuff is da bomb!” and “Daaang, it really works” are among their favorite comments.

For me, I just smile and say, “Here ya go” … and off they go to high school and college with confidence and clear skin.

Oh, and dare I mention ~ For the individual who may get blemishes on their bum (oh, my!) this will work for those, too … so you can feel confident wherever you go …

There you have it. Zit Patrol and Zit Stick. For those who have acne, and for those that won’t cop to having acne, because these products really work.

Regards,
Charlie :)

I have been using this product for years; & have given it as gifts…It works; better than anything I have ever used. I will not use anything else. I keep one at home and one in my travel bag. It not only works for acne, but for hair problems, which I have on my face, keeps infection away when tweezing. I am 56 and have tried everything…! This works!

    Hi Beverly,

Thanks so much for sharing your experience! I’m telling you, it’s been a lifesaver in my household for sure. Interesting to hear it’s a good add-on for hair problems too.

    cheers,
    Charlie :)

    Hi Rebecca,

Since publication of the previous post, we have decided to discontinue those products because the manufacturer changed the ingredients and we no longer find it to be as effective as it used to be. They took out the key ingredient which is Clindamycin, a topical antibiotic that helps kill acne causing bacteria.

Knowing this, I would highly recommend iS Clinical Active Serum to help control Acne. It’s available to purchase in our online store here: http://www.store.thestevensinstitute.com

This serum has anti-septic properties which will help kill acne causing bacteria – it also will give you oil-free hydration, is anti-inflammatory and will help improve any red acne scarring.

    All my best,

    Charlie ;)
