Plastic Surgery Predictions for 2011

Dear Charlie,
Plastic surgery and minimally-invasive cosmetic treatments seemed to be going strong in 2010, despite the economy. As a Los Angeles plastic surgery patient, I was wondering what your predictions are in 2011. What do you think will be popular?

You are absolutely right…cosmetic treatments in 2010 seemed to be as popular as ever, and 2011 is shaping up to be a big year too. Here’s what I think 2011 has in store for cosmetic procedures:
- Med spa procedures like BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable fillers will become even more popular than they already are.
- Surgical procedures will increase as the economy continues to improve.
- With celebrities celebrating their curves, I predict that buttock augmentation and/or fat grafting may see an increase.
- Breast augmentation should continue to be one of the top surgical procedures for 2011.
At the end of the day, these are just my predictions…let’s see what happens!
