I’ve recently seen on the Internet that celebrities are using tape to fake a face lift. Is tape a better option than a mini or traditional face lift?

Dear Anne,
I’ve heard about “face lift tape,” but I’ll be my usual self and tell it to you straight – there’s no way this product can compete with a surgical face lift in terms of results. While we all like the idea of appearing young and refreshed without the need for surgery, the simple fact is that a mini or traditional face lift may actually be a more realistic solution.
Think about it…”face lift tape” only lasts as long as you leave it on. As soon as it is removed your face is back to its normal self. While there is recovery time with a face lift or even a mini face lift, they can provide long-lasting benefits. Additionally, if you opt for a face lift, you’ll never have to worry about any tape showing – I mean really, how embarrassing would that be?
