Gummy Bear Breast Implants – “Sweet” Option
Tweet
Dear Charlie,
What are these “Gummy Bear” breast implants I keep hearing about? – Sounds like eye-candy.
Patricia, 41 years old
Dear Patricia,
Mention the words Gummy Bears, and visions of sugarplums may dance in your head. That is, if you are thinking of the traditional meaning of the words gummy bears, as in “sweet stuff.” There is, however, a new genre of bears, so to speak, that has surfaced in the Beverly Hills plastic surgery industry. Pretty sweet, actually. They are the new cohesive breast implants that are all the rage, especially to women who refuse to submit their bodies to saline implants.
Silicone breast implants in Beverly Hills have been around for years, but the new, state-of-the-art cohesive gel breast implants, fondly known as “Gummies,” have entered the playing field. they are softer, safer, and oh-so-touchable … without the worry of deflations that saline implants are known for! What can I say besides, “Yummy!”
Hugs,
Charlie

Hi Dianna,
Gummy bear implants are just a little more expensive than saline models. Then of course you’ll have other fees such as OR fees and the surgeon’s fee. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports an average cost for breast augmentation of $3,331, but the price can be significantly higher in major markets and for surgeons who are in demand. The implant price difference usually is not a deciding factor for our patients. Be sure to compare apples to apples by getting a complete price for breast augmentation from any surgeon you are considering. Thanks for the question!

Hi! Sounds yummy! I have very large breast as it is (D’s) but they’re heavy and after 2 kids they already sag. Not sagging 2 bad but not perky and ones always been noticably larger than the other (when not in a bra. I wanna know how much in full (fees, taxes, anestesia, etc.) does the procedure cost including a getting a breast reduction than implants? People don’t understand why iI want implants considering my breast are already huge. But huge breast sag with age and after breastfeeding two children.

Dear Luvvy!
I can relate personally to your concerns, as I recently had a breast reduction myself! (Yummy indeed!)
You are correct, many can’t relate, since most women think ‘larger is better,’ but after having children — together with the aging process — I can understand how “smaller and perkier” is sounding pretty good!
The most important factor is for you to have a physical exam prior to making any decisions, in order to determine exactly what is best for you, and if you are a suitable candidate. (It sounds like you desire a Laser Bra Breast Lift with Augmentation) Since there are many variables, I am unable to provide fees without the required examination. For example, there are even instances when a patient would most benefit from a Laser Bra Breast Reduction to obtain the desired results, and if so, we would try to obtain insurance authorization, as most breast reductions are typically covered by insurance!
I sincerely hope to see you soon, so we can further assist you.
